Rotary cut veneer production is a process that requires years of experience and adherence high requirements of technological processes.
Wood is a material in which the physical and chemical properties are rarely repeated, so the technological processes of veneer production require the appropriate parameters.
The technological process of production of veneer can be divided into several stages:
1) Wood steaming or boiling - increases the tendency to peeling by increasing the plasticity of the wood.
2) Logs debarking and cutting - the purpose of these processes is to clear logs from the bark and contamination, as well as cutting out the relevant pieces of wood for the peeling process.
3) Peeling - the process of veneer production takes place with the help of a special peeling machine.
At our factory we use Angelo Cremona peeling line, which guarantees a fully automatization of production process.
4) Veneer drying - occurs in order to stabilize humidity in the range from 6% to 10% humidity.
For this process we use a HILDEBRAND belt dryer.
